Well, here's to a first Journal Entry!
So, there I was this morning trying to figure out what to do, since some of my plans fell apart, and my iPhone goes off with the alert for e-mail. I go and check it and it's about a message from a friend of mine on Facebook (
), talking about a project that she was going to get into. I decided to go look to see what it was about. I look on her dA and the link (see above!) and have decided to join in on the Year of Doodles!It's going to start on April 1st and I'm actually a little excited for it. I'm figuring that worst case I'm going to be forcing myself to draw things and will have to eventually get better at it, LoL. I will be using [link] (specially created for it!) so that I don't have to worry about making some other ones public (I actually have a lot of private things that I share only with specific friends...I know, it sounds stupid since I'm posting it on the internet, but sometimes it's easier to just put it all in one spot and let my friends go there to know whats going on in my life). I'm also *REALLY* stepping out of my comfort zone with this. I don't believe that I am a very good artist and sharing what ever comes out is going to be like pulling teeth if I don't think they're good enough. I usually have to love what it looks like or have a funny back story to it for me to post it on dA. But I promise I will post *ALL* of them here and on the blog!
So here's to the Year of Doodles and good luck to those who are participating! I know I'm going to need it!
